Possible topics and reference pictures

I am to do a symbol on the topic - Global Warming, and I am to search for a smaller sub-topic to draw a symbol on, and to search for reference pictures.

I have decided on "The future generations", as in, what is the effect of Global Warming towards our future generations, our kids, the ones who are suppose to continue on living in the world. What will happen to them? Do you want them to suffer for what we are doing now?

Okay, I better not rant on or this whole post will be very angsty and out-of-topic. Anyway, here are some reference pictures I found and may use them for my symbol.

A baby is the best representative of the future generation, so I decided to use it as a part of my symbol. It is innocent and doesn't know what's going on in the world.

As for the second object that I thought of combining into as a symbol, a flame. Flame represents hotness, burning of global warming. Warning, warning, building on fire, please evacuate...

UPDATE...

I got a wee-bit of advice from Mdm Koo during tutorial lesson last week, and got a new idea for my new symbol sketch.

Baby trees!

Only 1 reference pic used, though...

Hi Charlene, nice blog! I like it. So, the future generation is your topic/focus theme. Great, I like the idea, a baby as an icon for the topic, sound great, too. Baby in the hot burning fire, will look dramatic but with some impact on the viewer. Just a thought.

Anyway, I dont see you put up your sketches, hope you will, Monday, will get you to present, OK?
